to seem them continue to grow.

Bold Canine and Friends at the All About Pets Show in Toronto

We were very pleased to again represent the breed at this year's All About Pets Show in Toronto. This marked the third year in a row that Bold Canine spent the Easter long weekend a the show and helping expose this beautiful breed to the public.
On hand for the entire weekend were Team Bold Canine members Steve & Betty with Tracker (Lola/Gunner '07), Yvonne with Vienna (Lola/Gunner '07), Caroline with Brooklyn (Lola/Gunner '07) and of course show regulars Gunner (Friday - spent the rest of the weekend home with Aly), and Lola on Saturday
It was a real treat to have such wonderful buyers offering their time to the breed! Both Vienna and Tracker were huge hits and are wonderful ambassadors to the breed.! And of course it is always a tribute to the breed when people that meet Gunner at last year's show come up and ask "Is Gunner here?" and request to have their photo taken with him.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show again in 2009! We've already planned for a double booth to make room for everyone!
Toronto Sportsmen Show 2008

What a great weekend we had at the Toronto Sportsmen Show!
With the show marking the first time in 5 years that Gunner wasn't strutting around the ring, this was a truly special show for us at Bold Canine with 4 of our own progeny showing in the ring - with Jade (Lola/Gunner '06), and Vienna/Brooklyn/and Tracker (Lola/Gunner '07).
All of the fur kids did great! Especially considering 3 had never stepping into the ring before. Jade, now at 18 month and looking great (she is definitely getting size from her father and has really filled out since last summer!) earned a Reserve Winner's Bitch, as did Brooklyn. It was great seeing all three 4 month old pups together!
The Results Are In!
We're thrilled to report that Aly's Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) Prelimary Report on Hips and Elbows has come in as... OFA GOOD! With both Left and Right elbows negative for any elbow dysplasia.
Aly has her TLI taken mid March with a good reading of 9.5 ug/l and is set to attend a health clinic on April 4th to have her Heart-Auscultation and Blood-Thyroid testing completed.
Meet the newest member of our the Bold Canine Pack - Brooklyn! We have high hopes for this little Lola/Gunner beauty!
Brooklyn will be a working member of the Bold Canine Team, and will be trained in order her to follow in her daddy's footsteps, helping rehabilitate dog aggressive dogs.
And of course, Brooklyn will be a potential breeding girl in 2 just over years time. Helping carry forward the contributions that her mom and dad have brought to this incredible breed.
Lola/Gunner puppies going home!
On Saturday December 29th, the first puppy left the nest. Molly, no known as Vienna, has moved in with her family, Yvonne, Kevin and Claire, in Brampton Ontario. Vienna will be starting puppy school at Bold Canine soon, and I look forward to watching her grow up!
Tracker will be leaving for his new home on Saturday January 5th, he will be living in Bradford Ontario, with his new family Steve and Betty! We sure will miss this little man!
